Founder’s Note

I started in the distribution business with my father and brother when I graduated from college in the early 70’s. I started WAM in 1985 with a vision to help distributors, manufacturers, and retailers partner together in a more effective way. We began with one distributor, Minter-Weisman Company, located in Minneapolis and today have a group of distributors that truly represent the very best distributors in the convenience channel. It’s the commitment of our distributors that makes WAM work, allowing us to perform at a high level for our manufacturers and to deliver consistent results year in and year out. As we continue to grow, we will remain relentlessly committed to providing our distributors with the tools and programs to increase their sales and profitability and to delivering results for our partner manufacturers.
